Real ingredients and cage-free eggs
Only the finest, real ingredients go into Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise. That’s eggs, oil and vinegar. And we’re committed to using certified cage-free eggs in our mayonnaise.
All our Hellmann’s mayonnaise on sale in the UK and Ireland has been produced with cage-free eggs (from free range or barn hens) since 2008.
Hellmann’s, Amora and Calvé brands in Western Europe met their commitment to source 100% of their eggs from free range or barn hens by the end of 2009, well ahead of their 2012 target.
And in 2010 Hellmann’s Light mayonnaise was launched using cage-free eggs in the US and free-run eggs in Canada.
Hellmann’s mayonnaise is also high in Omega-3 polyunsaturated fats – essential fatty acids which help maintain heart health as part of a balanced diet.
