The freedom I experience allows me to create, develop and implement my ideas and this contributes to the feeling that I really have an impact on results.
Being at the interface between the company and customers is great. You never stop learning and finding ways to do things better. Customer Development in Argentina has definitely gone through a lot of change which has given us all many opportunities. We have just integrated two sales forces into one in a very tough competitive environment and have achieved excellent market shares. This required the establishing of clear values and the developing of an entrepreneurial culture in Customer Development that demanded a strong reshape.
The team is highly motivated, compact and works in phase with other processes. This has been only the beginning of a very profound change! Teamwork is crucial to success and that's why I love sports so much. Sports and team spirit seem to go hand in hand, especially when you have played rugby. This is why I put a strong emphasis on building a real team.
On a totally different tangent, I am also interested in reading more about philosophy to balance so many hours of business. This combination has given me perspective in life and helped me to understand the value of going beyond some limits, creating strong relationships, looking at things from another perspective and enjoying the simple things of life.
