Bright minds took part in Collectively’s pilot programme to tackle inequality

Ideas have been taken forward to test in the real world, supported by business mentors

The issue

The Global Goals are the roadmap to ending extreme poverty, inequality and climate change by 2030. And now, more than ever, we need to collaborate to achieve them.

What can we do about it?

Collectively is a collective of innovators, activists, facilitators and change-makers.

In 2017 they brought together 100 of the brightest minds from the worlds of business, NGOs, activism, and the public sector to tackle inequality.

Over the course of four months, the groups used design and innovation techniques to develop ten ideas that addressed the issue from many different perspectives.

The teams are now testing their prototypes in the real world and projects have been matched to business mentors.

This was just the start. Their mission is to make collective action the norm, and over the next four years they will take on other Global Goals.
