The issue

Despite millions being spent in Indian cities to tackle issues like waste, water, sanitation, energy and air quality, sustainable solutions are not widespread.

What can we do about it?

Reap Benefit believes that no two problems are the same.

The team works with school and college students and uses online tools to create innovations that are low cost, effective and unique to each community.

They develop solutions like waterless urinals, giving schoolchildren clean toilets at an affordable cost for schools.

They dig out local data, ensuring that solutions are grounded in real experience.

And they share and communicate what they’ve learned, so positive change can continue.
