Help end domestic violence against women in South Africa
In South Africa, one in five women has experienced physical violence and 60,000 women and children are victims of domestic violence.
What can we do about it?
The only way we can stop this cycle of violence and abuse is to come together and end the silence. Joko wants to help our nation’s women use their strength to speak out. Our #EndDomesticSilence campaign aims to give women a safe space to have that first difficult conversation.
We’ve partnered with POWA (People Opposing Women Abuse), a South African NGO that advocates for women’s rights and also provides shelter, counselling and legal advice for victims of abuse.
We donate R1 to POWA from every 100s pack of Joko sold. This adds up to around 5 million rand a year. Join us and donate what you can directly to POWA to help us end domestic violence against women and get support to those who need it.
Be a true hero and #EndDomesticSilence
