Use your voice – vote for your #ArtofChange
Right now, 3 billion people globally can’t wash their hands with soap and water at home. This story isn’t new, but it's especially urgent in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.
What can we do about it?
Artists have the power to inspire change – so WaterAid turned to artists and asked them to submit bold, fresh artwork that tells the world what’s happening. Their open call for art had an incredible response, and now they need your voice and your vote to help pick a winner.
We’re backing WaterAid’s call on governments to double their investment in clean water and hygiene as part of the Covid-19 response, giving people everywhere the basic right to wash their hands at home.
The all-star judging panel has shortlisted 12 pieces of art and one of these will be presented to world leaders. The winner will be announced on Global Handwashing Day (15 October), so cast your vote now. Which artwork will motivate world leaders to listen and act? Every vote helps to show that the world wants to see urgent change.
