A long history of quality, flavour and freshness

Since 1838, the brand founded by Carl Heinrich Knorr has been on a mission to bring better and more flavoursome food to our tables. He pioneered drying techniques, enabling soup mixes, vegetables and bouillon to be prepared, which were delicious, nutritious and easy to use.

Word soon spread and so did his products, firstly across Europe and then the rest of the world. Knorr is now recognized as one of the world’s biggest cooking brands, continuing our founder’s mission and celebrating the wonderful differences in food, dishes and flavours to be found around the world.

This passion for food lies at the heart of Knorr – and it’s the reason why Knorr is one of the world’s largest cooking brands sold in more than 78 countries around the world.

Unlocking flavour and goodness from everyday food, farm to fork

At Knorr, we have a responsibility to help make positive change across the food system from the way food is grown, to the way food is consumed. We believe nutritious and delicious food should be within everyone’s reach.

That’s why our ambition is to source 100% of raw agricultural materials sustainably and to help more than 1 billion people improve their health and well-being by teaching them how to cook nutritiously by 2020.
