Blueair is one of the world’s leading producers of air purification solutions for home and professional use.

Founded in Sweden, Blueair is committed to raise the quality of life for people everywhere by delivering innovative, best-in-class, sustainably developed products and services to consumers in over 60 countries around the world.

Clean air for the next generation is our purpose

Over two decades ago, our Swedish founder wanted to ensure his children could breathe the same clean, fresh Swedish air inside their home as they did out in the pristine Swedish countryside. So he set out to make the world’s best air purifier.

With the aim to improve the health and wellbeing of people everywhere, Blueair removes pollutants from indoor air whilst also advocating for the right to clean air.

Every day around 93% of the world's children are breathing air that poses a serious risk to their health

Championing children’s freedom to breathe

Every child should be able to breathe clean, unpolluted air, yet nine out of ten children around the world are breathing in toxins that exceed safe levels. This poses serious risks to their health and development. Breathing clean air is vital to help children realize their full potential and live long healthy lives. Despite these risks, clean air is not among children’s rights defined by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

That’s why we are working with children, teachers and the sustainability charity Global Action Plan to help make clean air a UN-recognised right for all children – everywhere.

Support every child’s right to clean air by sharing this video to raise awareness, and if you’re a teacher, join us on calling on the UN via this form.

Working for change

We collaborate with NGOs, media, academia and local governments to drive awareness on the positive impact of clean air for a child’s health and learning – and to advocate for indoor air quality standards in line with World Health Organization recommendations.

Did you know?

We spend 90% of our time indoors, yet the air inside our homes is up to 5 times more polluted than on the street?
