This page gives a selection of frequently asked questions about the Unilever Webinar Series.

1. Who can participate in the Webinar Series?

All graduates and prospective graduates.

2. How can I register for the Webinar Series?

You can register by clicking on the “Register” link in the section “Join the webinar”. Follow the instructions and complete the registration form. Don’t forget to submit some questions to be addressed during the webinar. It’s better if you think of these before applying as they can only be submitted during the application process. You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been processed and details of how to log onto the webinar closer to the time.

3. What should I do to attend the webinar?

In order to take part in the webinar, you should register as described in the previous FAQ. A few days before the webinar is due to take place you will receive details of how to access the webinar.

4. Can I edit or add comments after my registration?

You can only comment once (at the moment of your registration) and it is not possible to edit it or add new comments afterwards.

5. Will my opinions and comments be made public outside the website?

The webinar series platform is a closed community, accessible only to registered members, Unilever staff and technical support staff. These are the only people who will be able to see your comments and voting results.

6. What is the format of the webinar?

The webinar will be held exclusively online, in live broadcast, through a special site accessible only to registered users. The Unilever leader will talk for around 20 minutes on the particular topic, basing his or her speech on the online voting results/comments expressed by the graduates and students in the webinar website. Participants will then have the chance to interact with the speaker through a chat system, again for around 40 minutes. The estimated length of the whole webinar is one hour.

7. What technical requirements are needed for people attending the webinar?

The webcast uses plugins. A few days before the webinar registered participants will have a chance to test the browser. Additional information and technical help will be provided via email and in the help section of the webinar portal.

8. I won’t be able to attend the webinar live. Will I have the chance to access it afterwards?

Yes. The webinar will be recorded and made available to all participants who have registered through webinar webpage. Only registered users will have access to the video.

9. Will my participation in the website and the webinar be taken into account by Unilever’s recruiters?

The Unilever Webinar Series is an interactive activity with the talent acquisition team of Unilever. Ideas and other content contributed by the individual could be useful in a future selection process and would consolidate a student’s application.

10. What is the official language of the Webinar Series?

English is the only language that will be used.

11. Will there be more webinars?

Definitely. If you register we will keep you aware of upcoming events.
