For the love of food

Great food is at the heart of everything we do. We are deeply passionate about food and the joy it brings. With friends, with family, on the go or at home, our brands bring the taste everyone loves to brighten every day.

Good food made easy

Meals come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes we need a meal in minutes, and sometimes we want to slow-cook a family favourite. No matter what we choose, we always want great taste.

For over a century, our Power Brand Knorr has focused on taking the best ingredients and preparing them in convenient formats tailored to consumer needs. Today, 30,000 Knorr stock cubes are sold every minute[c] and have become an essential ingredient in some of the world’s most popular dishes.

And the future is looking even brighter with our noodle and rice pots and other instant mini meals now reaching a new younger generation of consumers, who are time-strapped and looking for great taste with minimum effort.

The desk has a glass of water, a white computer keyboard, and a mouse and we can see the back of a computer monitor. The background includes shelves with books and plants, and the scene is lit with green ambient lighting.

Unilever Food Solutions: Chefs supporting chefs

True to its name, Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) is all about providing food solutions for professional chefs around the world.

On-trend menus? High-performance ingredients? Training and support? UFS has the answer.

Thanks to premium products ranging from Knorr Professional seasonings and bases to Hellmann’s refreshed line-up of versatile condiments, UFS provides chefs with the flavours they need to create the dishes their customers crave.

And thanks to its dedicated team of 250 chefs and its Future Menus initiative, UFS is also helping professional kitchens prep for the food trends of tomorrow. The annual Future Menus Trends book has been particularly instrumental in powering the growth of UFS, which now accounts for 20% of Unilever’s Foods Business Group.

Sustainability: Hungry for change

From water and soil management programmes supported by Knorr to Hellmann’s soil protection projects, we’re doing everything we can to create products that are more sustainable for people and the planet.

Why? Because without healthy soil, there can be no food businesses. Food production is responsible for over a third of all greenhouse gas emissions and is a leading cause of soil degradation and species loss.

We always want to ensure that we meet our consumers’ expectations by delivering products that are better for their health and the health of the planet. That’s why when it comes to sourcing our key ingredients, such as vegetables and wheat for Knorr, or oils for Hellmann’s, we are on a journey with our suppliers and partners to implement regenerative agriculture practices on 1 million hectares by 2030. When it comes to plastics, we are committed to working across our value chain to transform our portfolio and reduce plastic use.
