Lipton introduces tea for coffee machines
Lipton is launching single-serve tea packs for use in Keurig and Vue coffee machines to brew fresh cups of hot or iced tea at the push of a button.
Quick and convenient single servings
Lipton has teamed up with coffee company Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR), which owns Keurig, to launch a range of teas in K-Cup and Vue packs for Keurig single cup brewers in North America.
This brings together the fresh taste of Lipton with the convenience of Keurig single cup brewing systems which allow the new teas to be prepared quickly and simply at home and in the office.
Lipton ice teas will become part of the Brew Over Ice collection, a line specially crafted to make refreshing iced beverages with any Keurig brewing system.
Helping tea fans to ‘drink positive’
Lipton K-Cup packs combine great-tasting ingredients in three combinations. Lipton Refresh is a crisp and refreshing iced sweet tea made of fresh-pressed tea leaves and sweetened with cane sugar.
Lipton Indulge offers the taste of black tea from fresh-pressed tea leaves, blended with natural flavours for an indulgent aroma and taste, while Lipton Soothe is a smooth green tea made from tender green tea leaves and herbs and blended with natural flavours.
Alfie Vivian, VP, Refreshments, Unilever US, says: “Lipton K-Cup packs are a new and different way to enjoy fresh-brewed tea blends, with the ease and convenience of a Keurig K-Cup brewer. We are so excited to bring Lipton’s most aromatic tea creations to the Keurig Brewed line-up.”
