Comfort launches baby guide fit for a king

Comfort and Persil have joined forces to celebrate the recent royal birth with a tongue-in-cheek guide for new parents keen to give their little princes or princesses the best start in life.

Raise your baby like royalty

Comfort and Persil products from the Fit for King range

Comfort Pure and Persil Non-Bio, both formulated to be gentle enough for the most sensitive skin, have published ‘The Guide to Raising Your Baby Like a Royal’, available to download at the bottom of this page or from Comfort's Facebook page.

Marketing teams behind the brands drew on the knowledge of an etiquette expert to put together a plethora of top tips, designed to help parents ensure their baby’s first few months are worthy of the royal seal of approval.

Advice ranges from how to get the softest, comfiest outfits – with Persil and Comfort of course! – to dealing with photographers and achieving the fairytale happily ever after.

Limited edition laundry products

Limited edition Comfort Pure and Persil Non-Bio packs have also hit supermarket shelves in celebration of the new heir to the throne.

Some 700,000 1.5 litre bottles of Comfort Pure, complete with a regal golden cap, and 400,000 boxes of Persil Non-Bio 25-wash powder are on sale across the UK. Both commemorative packs feature an image of a small baby wearing a crown.

No better care for babies

“As specialists in creating laundry products suitable for babies, both Comfort Pure and Persil Non-Bio Powder are perfectly positioned to spearhead the royal celebrations for the category,” says Fernanda Tubini-Roberts, Comfort Senior Brand Manager, Unilever UK.

“They are both iconic British brands with a loyal following, and we anticipate that the birth of the royal heir will encourage both existing and new shoppers to engage in the celebrations and purchase the keepsake packs."
