Support women cocoa farmers in Ivory Coast

The issue

During lockdowns, community life is lost. City centres are no longer bustling with busy commuters and, even when restrictions are eased, they take time to get back to life. But it’s not just our cities that we need to rebuild.

What can we do about it?

At Magnum, we believe a day without pleasure is a day lost. So, in 2020, we asked artists from all over the globe to imagine a world where we can once again share in moments of pleasure, together.

The result? A new digital art exhibition for Pleasure Seekers to step into a world without lockdown restrictions. Pleasure Imagined features 13 original artworks from Spain, Italy, Argentina, Brazil and beyond. As a virtual visitor, take pleasure in the moments of joy they have created and then make a donation to raise funds for women cocoa farmers in Ivory Coast, where Magnum sources much of its cocoa.

In partnership with NGO 100WEEKS, Magnum has committed an unconditional donation of €250,000 to the cocoa farming communities who have been impacted by the pandemic. As we begin to rebuild our communities, visit the Pleasure Imagined exhibition and donate what you can to help women cocoa farmers to do the same.
